don't get me wrong, many in film (especially french) are pedo-supporting (see also the age of consent petition for cancelling french favs), but it seems like the case---and this is how Natalie Portman characterized it in her apology---that the scumbags promulgated the petition through trusted channels and purposefully obfuscated what Polanski was to be extradited for. "a case of morals" they call it

i don't know what you're implying by this, she's simply an example of someone who signed the petition and recanted it with a statement.
They might be implying she was being manipulated in many ways when she was younger.
