I've only recently joined this website, but in this short amount of time I've seen quite a bunch of people coping with depression, anxiety, dread, burnout etc. I think having a space to discuss all your bad feelings in connection with today's fucked up world and to practice self care would be really nice.
If you do such a thing, please make it so people are subscribed to it as well, and opt out of it if they don't need it. Anyway, thank you.
I support this 100%. I've been posting a weekly mental health check-in thread for the last few weeks but it would be great to have a whole board for that.
This is a good idea, my one fear is that it turns into a kind of negative death-spiral. Not sure what could be done to prevent that, but it would be something to consider.
I can see the problem, but i dont think it would be unhandlable here. After all, it should be a board to encourage and care for each other, not to encourage dumb ideas. People that do that should be excluded from there.
I opened cc in the middle of work looking for a board to do exactly this. Only worry is that it could go r/depression and turn into a hole of negativity that reinforces mental health issues.
