It's two hours of the most meticulously beautiful hand draw animation. It's utterly batshit bonkers wacky racers in space. It's silly and fun and you should absolutely watch it. The hero has a pompadour and drives like a 70s muscle car against people racing in hover tanks and space ships.

8 years was spent on it with 100% hand drawn animation cells in what is quite possibly the most blown budget on an anime of all time. There is not a single frame that wasn't completely hand drawn.
There is nothing else that compares to its animation.

The highest energy moments of almost any action movie you've seen is Redline's baseline. It's one of the few movies where the breathless review blurbs are completely accurate.
Does anyone know where you can find a copy now? The whole thing used to be on youtube. Kinda want to snap it up before it gets destroyed by some corp.
