Say what you will about conservatives but at least they have passion.

Seriously though, say what you will about conservatives.

My lib coworker has printed out a 8x8 inch black and white photo of RGB and taped it to his monitor. He also said "your president" when I expressed some minor leftist ideas implying it was my fault that trump is president?? Or that I like him?? Not really sure but he's the "I'm vooootin" guy irl

I don't and people don't typically where I work, outside of the standard "Trump bad" type huffing. But this person and I have a good relationship and I trust he wouldn't rat me out (on purpose anyways).

I'm union, and the union stewards like me because I used to be a union steward and I help them out when I can, that's the only reason why I discuss politics, and I'm selective about who I talk to. There's definitely people I know to avoid, but lets be honest, the union would probably side with me in a conflict.

surprisingly I have one coworker who is a leftist too - at least to the point where we can share memes about Biden's brainworms lol. Only person on my entire team I actually talk politics with.

I love when libs think that they're being "pragmatic" as if everyone else is just huffing unicorn piss

Thing is, libs will hear actual huffing of unicorn piss from conservatives' part all day long, so they're primed to dismiss anything that contradicts them as also being huffing unicorn piss.

I didn't respond to it the very next message was "Going to go eat dinner. Not interested in getting into this old nonsense again."

As if we've ever "gotten into it" lol

Oh sorry I can give more context to this. He is using "bored" in the literal entertainment sense and referring to his observation that every argument with me "ends up in an accusation about liberalism or capitalism." Like as in he doesn't want to talk about capitalism any more. It bores him.

He literally compared my reducing arguments down to liberalism or capitalism to Godwin's Law, which I find to be hilarious. Because he is, in fact, a liberal and someone who supports capitalism -- he would admit to this. It would be like a Nazi trying to invoke Godwin's law in an argument and then saying "ugh again with this Nazi shit SO BORING give me something I haven't heard before."

Love too dismiss the idea of having any agency or understanding of the power structures that dominate my life as "this old nonsense". The fuck do they think is important, then?
