Lmao they haven't even nominated a candidate yet. They're giving up before even starting, which honestly is the most democrat thing they could do.

The whole goddamn point of the Lincoln Project was that they made the dirty ads Dems were too scared to make. If Dems don't at least get that in exchange for whitewashing elite neocon war mongers, they need to be disbanded as a party.

The point of the Lincoln Project was to take money from

        maybe-later-honey and maybe-later-kiddo

and turn the post-Trump Democrats into the pre-Trump Republicans same-picture

Well that's the actual purpose but they could at least fake their stated purpose a few times a year and do a Willie Horton level ethics ad against Trump

    This makes a helluva conspiracy.

Trump gets shot, but shooter conveniently just wings him. Shooter is Republican, apparently.Shooter being Republican as opposed to Democrat allows Trump to call for unity and seem magnanimous. Now Trump is calling for unity (I browsed Reddit for half an hour today, I saw a post about it). Trump’s calls for unity is going to make him seem downright presidential, especially to Democratic fence sitters. Biden’s gaffes take a backseat to Trumps newfound presidential attitude. Now it no longer matters if Biden drops out or not.

I’d really not be surprised if he wins it because of this. What a time to be whatever.

Or maybe I should just quit taking THC because I’ve cooked my brain. Who the fuck knows.

It's not a conspiracy, at least not an inside job; Trump would never agree to this. It was less than a centimeter from killing him or giving him permanent brain damage. And people died. That's not how inside jobs go.

As I understand intelligence, Secret Service, and VIPs, the only way they get assassinated is when their inner circle lets it happen. There is no way they left that building unpatroled. I heard early reports that the Secret Service had eyes on the shooter but didn't neutralize with prejudice. We have a dozen stories, many confirmed, of federal LEOs radicalizing individuals, getting them arms, and convincing them to commit violent crimes.

AFAICT, the debate over the little details is the distraction from how the security system functions. There's no question that there was deliberate knowing involvement by some level of federal law enforcement with the shooter.

There were cops on scene who had eyes on the shooter for minutes but didn't do anything, so they did have a patrol on the building; my personal belief is that if there was any conspiracy it stopped at those cops and didn't extend to the inner circle, but there probably was no conspiracy.

Trump has no reason to call for unity. In the eyes of his voters, he’d be more presidential if he took retribution
