stalin-garrison objectively the moderate wing of fascism btw

it makes me think of how the confederate leadership were pardoned by Andrew Johnson after half a million conscripts died. You can shed endless scalding tears for the scratch on the god emperor's ear, enough to fill a river, and it still won't buy you one bit of sympathy from the hogs. They will want to flay you alive when they get power. So who's this for? The press?

Socdems: "Americans (documented citizens) that work 40 hours a week (means testing ahoy) should be able to afford (the market hooray) housing (not houses to own)!"

Conservatives: "This is Totalitarian Communism straight from Red China and Iran!"

If there's no place for political violence, then why are people killed by the state everyday? What about all the people murdered due to poverty and lack of health care?

This is base self preservation. "Please do not take a revenge shot at me because you might not miss".

There are actually dipshit centrists who support this kind of thing who tend to be relatively wealthy, retired, and white. Not enough to swing an election, but who else are the dems supposed to appeal to, the huge portion of the country that doesn't vote at all? I think not.

They are appealing to their base, civility libs. It is the same as a republican yelling about woke DEI or whatever.

They all just want to dissuade people from shooting random politicians they don't like at a whim. She and Biden and everyone else have people who would very much like them dead, sometimes for good reason, sometimes because America is a wild west for bloodthirsty chuds. It is an exercise in self preservation. They don't want pOlItIcAl ViOlEnCe. They want people to go vent their anger on Twitter or sign petitions on change.org.

I just don't know why they think begging the people who want to kill them to calm down will work. It's a nonviable strategy even from the perspective of self preservation. Reactionary adventurists aren't going to change their mind based on these kinds of statements lmfao.

It's to keep the libs in line, and it's why everyone in the media is doing it, in hopes the libs forget the rhetoric that Trump is a violent fascist that needs to be exterminated and the rest of the conservatives will be too busy kissing every last word out of Trump to do anything

My favourite part of all this is the chuds coming out with "words are violence" after spending years leading up to this saying that words aren't violence

The words are hollow for a bunch of reasons, but I think my favorite is how every time anything spicy happens, we have to abhor this vitriolic tragedy with every ounce of our being. This is not who we are. This is the soul of America at stake blah blah blah...

    Every time

It's beyond meaningless. It's too expected, cynical, and unoriginal.

Then you have the people who have to chime in with "this is EXACTLY who we are" followed by a bunch of pithy nonsense devoid of material analysis
