Holy shit, many of us have been saying China should do this for years. Thank God. They should pump out reverse-Johnny Harris videos too explaining all the aggressive actions the US is taking and has taken near China and around the world.

I also would love to see a Chinese produced but fully translated to English (and other languages) like history of the communist party in China. Fuck it, history of the world, just produced by Chinese citizens with an eye towards worldwide public consumption. Sort of like the BBC produces. Pump the propaganda directly into my veins and straight to my brain. Counter the liberal narratives

They do, but it gets deplatformed pretty quickly. There's one called 起底工作室 China Unlocked, produced by China Daily that puts out short vids about China issues, usually media spats or hot topics.

They were recently 'deboonked' as fake news for using software to smooth out and de-accent (well, 'correctly' accent) their speech.

Yep, so one of the two hosts' un-edited English is Chinese-accented. Perfectly fine and understandable. But their producers applied an accent filter over the top to smooth out pauses and give it a slight British accent, presumably to make it more intelligible for overseas audience. The other host has a slightly American accent post-editing but I don't know if she spoke differently before.

The articles attacking the studio were completely proportionate and said stuff like they're creating 'AI propaganda'.

You can find their stuff re-uploaded by others if you search '起底工作室 China Unlocked' on YouTube. China Daily still has its own account there too.

I literally don't understand the "problem" there if all they did was make the speech more clear or whatever. People do stuff like that all the time. Seems like a desperate excuse to ignore the facts in the videos and just point and "see? China! Bad!"

Also this came up under that channel. I don't know what I expected, but this is Johnny Harris' greatest enemy

I watched that video (sample size: 1) and I didn't see anything wrong with the info they presented. It all tracks with my memory of the whole "pipeline saga"

              Pipeline was blown

US was like "wow! Who would do this!? Russia, the country benefiting from a pipeline?! Wow!"

Which makes zero fucking sense except in a false flag style way. False flags do happen, but that shouldn't be your first explanation.

Anyway, the most obvious culprit was the US or Ukraine and I believe the truth ended up being basically the US helped some Ukrainians do it. I think the problem the liberal "fact checkers" would have with such a conclusion (which is just true? To my knowledge and memory?) is it doesn't blame Russia and it does blame the US.

I'm kinda curious what Johnny put out on the pipeline now. I bet it was dogshit. He always puts out dogshit.

Oh shit, so they do have a channel. It didn't come up when I searched. Good stuff.

Edit: also yeah that's the two hosts with their normal voices. The stuff they've published since then has the filter applied and it's totally a non-thing.

The Soviets had a similar documentary about capitalism and used the US as an example

They have a cool documentary on the long march that is subtitled and free on youtube. I'd love more stuff like that freely available.
