So to be fair to the book, it's more making a point that this is how people classify cultural stimuli in a personal level. The question says that the example is arbitrary and calls for the reader to make their own, point out issues, and discuss who makes these arbitrary determinations.

Also judging by how a lot of the comments here are actually trying to "fix" the arrangement it's not wrong about how we mentally classify things lol.
