on top of that it's like something they threw on the end to signal to the base he's just like them, but your gen-x aunt that posts, "Just askin'!?!?!?" on every unhinged facebook post they make is held in contempt by their peers. It's purely, transparently craven.

The big wet boy would never

Nah, it is a good point. The dems were suppring elder abuse and lying about it. They shouldn't get to just walk away from that. Trump being an outsider is the only political That could do it. He won't which makes me sad but he could.

True. He also doesn't have it in him to play hardball. Even back when he did have it in hi.. He didn't do it much.

  • That's a good point, actually. When we speak to others aware of online left in-jokes, it can be easy to forget that there are people who are still completely unaware of her actual crimes. Are we really supposed to believe Libs of TikTok cares about a corrupt prosecution record?

Yeah like I told the other person, noone outside of this website and a few other online left circles knows about that context. Everyone else just sees them making fun of a woman for laughing, which is an extremely lame line of attack.

I think it's stupid to rule out personal attacks when they're accurate or ironic or something (read: I am not a debate lord please don't think I am for saying this 😁) but when they're essentially standing alone I never dip into that territory.

I think most people on Chapo.Chat the Citations Needed official fan blog, have understanding that they are talking with other liberals who enjoy the work of Marx and may even come here to get away from the nonsense infighting between chuds ands libs.

What’s the dunk? That chuds are misogynistic assholes who hate women and they’re still going to win. It feels more doomer to me

They are always like this and they still win. They don’t win because they make some brilliant move or turn the reactionary knob down a notch. The Dems can’t help themselves. They are losers.

I think "woman: laughing" is actually a pretty effective attack. Misogyny.

Explaining why it works is difficult but it also worked very well to attack Hillary via her laugh as well. Look at anything about Hillary and it's all "evil woman laughing". They'll do the same thing with Kamala.

Before anyone says it's not misogyny, you never see "Man: laughing" as an attack. There is a reason it only happens to women.

On the other hand, Kamala doesn't give the same "evil" vibes that Hillary. To be sure, she sold her soul to the machine, but to me it just seems like she's nervous all the time instead of a machiavellian lizard robot

They both appeal to wine moms/aunts but Kamala's wine mom/aunt energy always came across a lot more genuine to me. When I watched that compilation of her laughing from the screenshot, it always seemed like sincere joy lol.

Didn't Howard Dean lose the 2004 primary because he yelled "Yeah!" or do I have that wrong?

I'm not saying it's not misogyny, just that Americans are too stupid to need decent reasons to oppose someone, even by liberal democratic standards.

This is somewhat exagerated. It helped but he was already slipping.

(I also think times have changed somewhat).

Libs of TikTok is run by a Chabad lady considered too old to be unmarried by her community, who is currently single because her fiance left her due to her hateful posting. Seeing untempered joy, not derived from hurting or looking down on someone, is alien and unsettling to people like her and her followers.

sadly the joy in question is about locking up the parents of truant kids

If she ran on that she might actually siphon the authoritarian vote from Trump too, I don't think a single Republican would even pretend to not want that

Its 2 minutes and 20 seconds of her laughing lol. She's laughing about a ton of things. You are the second person here to think the only time she ever laughed was the time that Hexbear dunks on her for.

True, she might also laugh about withholding evidence, or denying early release because the got paid by big slavery, or locking up cannabis consumers. Could be lots of things, really.

This originated because she was laughing about sending parents to jail for truancy and’s now everyone makes fun of her laugh. They should make fun of her.

They do this with aoc too. Republicans were eating good during the 2016 era of anti-SJW but then they went right back to the pre-2016 era of sounding like out of touch old people.

I think they might be afraid to get the chuds riled up too soon, because they will jump straight to misogyny and racism. The GOP's biggest weak spots right now are women pissed off over losing civil rights because of Trumps judges, and also a fear that the minority voters the GOP has been picking up will be turned off and go straight back to the Democrats.

Chuds putting their foot in their mouths and turning off voters with weird misogyny and racism is going to do more to get Harris elected than any campaigning she does.

(Or maybe a Trump landslide, I can't figure out the electorate)
