It's really wild when liberals try to fit thousands of years of Chinese history with all sorts of different dyansties doing different things in to one simple "China bad" narrative, and then try to connect that to the Communist party that got rid of the imperial system altogether. It really goes to show that they're just racist and don't care what government China has because they hate the people regardless. And also that they've never studied Chinese history like at all.

      I think it's more of a capacity thing: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunbar%27s_number

There seems to be a limit to how much a person can care. Can only imagine that extends to every other aspect of an individuals experience. Then add in that most people will never have the opportunity or know-how to deprogram themselves so last they heard the local propaganda said 'China bad' so China BAD!

Dunbar's number is a suggested cognitive limit to the number of people with whom one can maintain stable social relationships—relationships in which an individual knows who each person is and how each person relates to every other person.

That's just a limit on how many people whose lives you can keep track of.

I can extend some benefit of the doubt but this "China has been nothing but a bully for 4500 years" and talking about "Han bullies" crosses a line and I don't think it's relevant to Dunbar's number. The propaganda however does play a role in making people racist.

    cope

But further, the amount of delusional projection is incredible. We have states named after slavers and plantations. We have a history of recorded genocides and eugenics programs that directly inspired the nazis. Our government agencies, including our space program recruited nazis! We have active genocidal prisons all of the world right now.

And they couldn't even use one of the acceptable spellings of 'Uyghurs'.

    Sure buddy. You're the anti-racist.

at least [The US] will pay lip service to their people

Oh wow! Lip service! Nothing like liberalism showing off her ice cream vault as another state murder gets live streamed on our plague-ridden streets.

Fuck out of here. Lip service. Yeah, lip service is definitely going to pay my rent.

This is pure, unadulterated liberalism. This is some fentanyl-grade liberalism.

If a cop got this close to fentanyl-grade liberalism, they'd start convulsing and shoot a dog.

Always funny that the term paper tiger is used for China. A term that didn't exist in western lexicon until Mao used it to refer to the US. Just a kindergarten no, you retort.

"I have said that all the reputedly powerful reactionaries are merely paper tigers. The reason is that they are divorced from the people. Look! Was not Hitler a paper tiger? Was Hitler not overthrown? I also said that the tsar of Russia, the emperor of China and Japanese imperialism were all paper tigers. As we know, they were all overthrown. U.S. imperialism has not yet been overthrown and it has the atom bomb. I believe it also will be overthrown. It, too, is a paper tiger."

Ehh, I’m all for dunking on Baltic people who are all “ackshully the Nazis occupying us wasn’t bad,” but that phrasing makes it sound like you’re casting doubt on the humanity of every Baltic person. Not a good look when we’re dunking on people for doing the same to the Chinese.

News media follows the same pattern as entertainment media. Long gone are the days when Chinese citizens were depicted as impotent victims of the Communist Party. [17] Polling of Chinese citizenry by Dalia Research reveals that “73% of Chinese consider China to be democratic, whereas only 49% of Americans believe the same about the U.S.,” [18] Harvard’s Ash Center concludes after a landmark 13-year study that “Chinese citizen satisfaction with the government has increased virtually across the board,” [19] Blackbox Research and Toluna find “China gets top score as citizens rank their governments’ response to the coronavirus outbreak,” [20] [...]

This reality of a government that leads by consent rather than repression, of Chinese people who are content with “moderate prosperity” rather than starry-eyed about American largesse, necessitated the birth of a new myth. And so propaganda shifted gears, and the Chinese population ceased to be portrayed as victims, and instead became “Han supremacists,” hellbent on liquidating all difference and homogenizing the whole world in their image.

No racism there. I can not be racist against my own family member, which you are. You just wanna wave that card because you think it will work. That was pure anti-CCCP sentiment because your entire dictatorship is nothing more than a paper tiger, just like the other wannabe superpower, Ruzzia. You're an authoritarian dictatorship, the US is imperialistic, the Ruzzians are fascists. Of the three the only one that is even worth negotiating with is the US, because at least they will pay lip service to their people, unlike the genocidal CCCP and Moscow. China was nothing but a bully to their neighbors for 4500 years and you want to claim that you aren't a wannabe bully because you got your face smashed in 50 years ago by Vietnam, and you haven't dared to try since? Get out of here with that shit. You aren't communist. You aren't capitalist. You're still Han bullys, and just waiting to genocide everyone that isn't. Just ask the Uigers. The difference now is that the rest of the world won't let you, and you're scared of trying because you fell as a power over 100 years ago, have never caught up, and though you tried hard your leaders ensured you'll never surpass the US. You got close. That one child policy really bit you guys in the ass.
