The Italian literally seems bad at the sport here
it's her very telegraphed right jab that does it for me lmao.
honestly this would be me if i fought her lmao
I presume you're not an olympic boxer tho.
I wouldn't make a judgement like that about her. I think her only mistake is either her spacing or inadequate head movement. There are times where that counter-punch pays for your Ferrari. One stand out example in which spacing makes the difference is Connor McGregor (up and comer) for UFC gold backing up against Jose Aldo (established and dominating) and KOing him with a counterpunch[1]. Then there's Sean O'Malley for UFC gold backing up against Aljamain Sterling [4]. Israel Adesanya has moments in UFC title fights where he comes out victorious from a counterpunch that looks a lot more like what she was going for[2][3].

She's a cop, so she's probably expected to outnumber her opponent six to one and for them to be handcuffed face down on the pavement.
That's like the textbook case for how a counterpunch hits way harder than usual too, she didnt even just eat it out of nowhere, she hooks her way straight into a punch, just plain sucks lol.
I’ve been on my Ippo grind for the last couple of months and idk why but it’s so weird to go back to watching real life boxing and having so much of a better understanding than when i used to just casually watch boxing matches.
