Lmao.lol
Literally #3 I think. ml, grad, and the bear are all the oldest.
when i first read it at ~40 comments, most people were answering in good faith, so i think we did more than what was expected of us
It's usually only one or two turbolibs that turn those threads into giant thousand post rainbow threads
I saw one person who looked at all that and decided they liked us better and joined Hexbear
We love @NonbinarySeinfeld@hexbear.net in this instance.
I remember opening that comment section, not being aware of how old Hexbear is and thinking "fuck, but there are a lot of em". Nice to see so many good faith (or plain silly) replies. Was a bit worried about what I'd see from how spicy I've seen you lot be in this community, TBH.
We're the Boogeyman of Lemmy. Anyone who actually comes here gets along great. We're just incredibly hostile to anyone even slightly reactionary or uninformed. Something that became somewhat of a necessity to protect our role as a safe space for both leftists and minority communities.
The only reasons anyone is scared of us is because they know they have reactionary opinions and they know that if exposed to us we will absolutely shred them to pieces.
We're the Boogeyman of Lemmy
A Spectre haunting, you might say
Honestly most of us love a good faith discussion. Bring on the challenge. Let's debate the world because that shit is fun, interesting, and we're both going to learn something. It's when we see the bad faith shit or the straight up reactionary content that we'll get to dunking. The only folks who have anything to fear from Hexbear are chronically online reactionaries, and even then all they have to fear are that we're gonna make them feel bad and show them a picture of a pig with poop on its balls
If you crank your neighbours' hogs on either side it can be twice as efficient
Lol, i remember sharing in the mod chat when it was at 50 comments this morning
Yeah , @NonbinarySeinfeld@hexbear.net made a post a few hours ago got their thread poppin. Lol
