Best quote: Maduro calling out the libs in the megathread

"Maduro - a few hours before the debate between Trump and Biden in Cleveland - expressed that he is not enthusiastic about seeing it live, so he said that he will wait to learn the details of that meeting through the press.

The Venezuelan president indicated that instead of seeing the first debate between President Trump and the Democratic candidate Biden, he preferred to see the first clash of the NBA final between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Miami Heat at night."

Feels more like the Devil You Don't Know than the Devil That's Got His Shit Together, to me.

Bloomberg I'd be worried about. But I have a sneaking suspicion that a Biden Administration is going to pick up where Trump left off in looting the US Treasury and not giving a shit otherwise.

Biden sucks but lets be real he's not outright endorsing white supremacy and the Proud boys. They're both garbage but Trump's cult is legit scary and his platform amplifies and emboldens the worst people out there.

I actually agree with you. Stateside, Biden is clearly superior, in that he slows the decline of the American Empire long enough for us to hopefully gain a foothold before 2024. For Venezuela, however, Biden and Trump are two sides of American imperialism.

he’s not outright endorsing white supremacy and the Proud boys

The difference between explicit and implicit white supremacy is not meaningful to someone on the receiving end of another CIA-sponsored bombing run.

Not only that, by saying there is no difference means that the Coup Blocker in Chief himself acknowledges that the "pro-Trump argument" that we see on here a lot about Biden being worst for "the global south" (just say Latin America, ffs) is bull shit.

I dont think that Maduro cares about internationalism with US and European leftists as much as.... say Morales.... so this is purely on Venezuelan policy. He doesn't care about US domestic policy as much per se.

And I just finished reading the article, and yes it's 100% about their policy towards Venezuela, which is equally as bad.
