Literally the whole point of his ideology is just so he always has an excuse to hate on women. Thats like the spice of life for him, and most reactionaries.

Obviously he's a tool, but I do feel some level of annoyance at Raygun. All she did was take a spot from someone who deserved to do what they love at the Olympics. What she did was a real sham.

    EDIT:

holy shit, on further research she is actually Australia's best breakdancer. That's hilarious. Nevermind. Raygun is still an incompetent, but not a dickhead at all. She did it for king and country.

I just finished Trillbillies and they read part of her thesis. She academicizes breakdancing to the point of absurdity

There's a good BBC article about it. Apparently the women's break dancing talent pool in Australia is just very very small. Her routine is apparently usually more traditional, but when she went to the Olympics she decided she'd have no chance against the young and athletic 'powerhouses', so instead tried to compensate using creativity and Australian identity as her supposed strong points. Apparently the people she'd beaten to get there were shocked and confused, and questioned her decision making. She should've just tried her best at traditional breakdancing, perhaps. Then again, would she have become a global icon? It'll go down in history, that's for sure.

"This is why feminism was a mistake."

But probably because he has to pepper in some content that has broader mass appeal than screeching about how trans people are all committed to SAing people in public bathrooms.

It's about ethics in gaming journalism integrity in Olympic breakdancing

I mean, she's a privileged ass white woman who basically skipped past the line of legitimately talented people, all because she did the classic thing of taking something largely popularized by POC and far less privileged white people, and wrote a bunch of ridiculous academic papers that completely miss the mark, and the paraded herself around as something she so clearly isn't.

It's like dweebs that conduct epidemiological studies on inner city kids but completely miss the mark when it comes to so many dynamics and factors, but they selfishly don't care because they mostly just want the clout.

Edit: That said, Matt Walsh is an asshole and I don't have to watch this video to know his take is almost certainly ass backwards and sexist.

Edit: Also puh-lease, RayGun is far from being the best woman breakdancer in Australia. A whole bunch of folks said they didn't even know Australia was pushing a team and it's clear as day that RayGun had the spot practically reserved.

First rule of reactionaryism: You automatically become the standing authority on everything. Pay no mind to the tagline on 4chan saying "only a fool would take anything posted here as fact", nothing is true unless a consensus of fascists say it's true....but you're too smart to be a groupthink ideologue like the libs.

For real. It's already exhausting for my neurodivergent ass to fake caring about my job in a positive way when I'm not feeling it; I can only imagine performing hate must be so much more exhausting
