It’s becoming clearer that Kamala has a very good shot at winning if this is the best Republicans can do. They can’t attack from her left like Trump did with Hillary and over rely on tired red scare tropes.
Tim Walz was probably the best thing to happen to her campaign. He makes up for her lack of charisma and has all the “left” credentials to make them seem more left-wing than they actually are

The democrats have historically relied on the black vote to win and kamala doesn't have it. In the lead up to the 2020 primaries she had a projected 1% of the black vote. Whats changed? This could be an election with record low turn out
Does Trump have the Black vote though? I know conservatives like to make a lot of noise how "all the Blacks and Hispanics are moving right!" but I don't really think that's true. Sure, Trump might have more of the Black vote than in 2016/2020, but that's probably still far from a majority.
Kamala had none of the Black vote in a primary where you had Bernie (an actually good candidate by USA standards), Biden (running on Obama nostalgia) and that whole massively crowded primary field. This is a presidential election and her opponent is Trump, I'm doubtful that it's still true that she is floundering when it comes to the Black vote.
Can I just say that regurgitating Twitter memes is what led you to this conclusion? The reality invention machine is really in overdrive for the dems, but this time there are no Chillary emails memes. It's the same situation as Hillary. Hillary could have won too, I just don't understand what people are seeing above a series of "oh no she didn't just put them on blast like this 😂😂😂 still a genocidaire though!" tweets from Juniper and the like.
I think you're right about a lot of the "Kamala might win" attitude being very vibes-based and based wholly on DNC propaganda and astroturfing, but I also think the situation with Hillary was very different. Hillary had been hated for years, and in 2016 that all caught up to her. A big part of Bernie's platform was opposition to neoliberalism, for which Hillary was a posterchild. When Trump went against her in the election, he lifted a bunch of Bernie's talking points and was able to attack Hillary simultaneously from the right and left, and he really seized on her unlikeability.
Kamala doesn't really have the same problem since she's less nationally known and a lot of people don't really have a preformed opinion on her. Even as Biden's VP it seems she's mostly flown under the radar and the Dems have been able to present her as some sort of tabula rasa. Also, thus far Trump's angle has been very weird, the "childless cat ladies" thing, the "I didn't know she was Black" thing, all a far cry from Trump's antiestablishment attacks on Hillary which were popular on both sides of the aisle. The best thing I've seen from him is his point that she was chosen undemocratically to take over from Biden, but unfortunately Biden was one of the least popular presidents in US history and most Dems are glad he's not running. It's a very small amount of people who were planning on voting for Biden but now won't vote for Kamala based on principle.
Nah, I’m not in the mood for that at the moment. Maybe bother me at the crack of dawn if you really want it.
You did bring it up in the first place and piqued my curiosity.
Believe me, I’ve heard it all too. I did say she had a very good shot at winning after all. That doesn’t exactly mean a landslide election. Her chances have increased quite a bit and the comparison to Hillary seems much stronger for Joe Biden than it does Kamala.
Lol I also post better at the crack of dawn, if I remember to get back to you then, I will explain what I originally meant, but now my phone has 5% and I'm getting drunk in the park and the 2 people here already think I don't act right

That's exactly why I thought they'd pick Shapiro. I still find it hard to believe they actually did something politically savvy for once.

I think the take that Trump is spooked because he has something at stake fr with the assassination is real too. There's more to it for sure.
I'm not a "gunman was hypnotized and also given blanks and Trump bladed" guy I don't have that much fun onlind.
No you can’t say that because I’m not on Twitter to see the memes I allegedly regurgitate. Who tf even is Juniper?
Oh I was just hoping you'd start monologuing about where you got your impressions. Come on don't make me explain pointless online shit.
I've heard this spiel before, about how the deplorables will all die of cringe before they get to vote and the polls speak for themselves.
