i don't think so like i can't not even guess what the effect long term or how long the whole putin trump thing is going to last but it will be like iraq war suddently it never happened us going crazy over lev parnas or whatever never happened HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT THE YELLOW MENACE?!?!?! like always just go for the next until it all ends
Yeah, The whiplash I got from reading MSM is what made me read Manufacturing Consent. From there it was just a continual journey leftward, especially because that was around the time I had to start fully supporting myself by selling my labor for sub-minimum wage.
I don't know why manufacturing consent gets a bad rap from communists, like I know Chomsky is a lib and his conclusions don't nearly go far enough, but like 95% of the book is them presenting American atrocities that you've likely never even heard about and detailing how the American media lied about it.
I think it's important to remind people that Chomsky sucks. Especially anyone who's read Manufacturing Consent. Otherwise you risk them sliding back into liberalism and not radicalizing.
If I hadn't been bullied about it I never would have kept going and reached the correct conclusions instead stewing in Chomsky's contradictions.
