I genuinely don't get it. How are Mike Lindell and Matt Walsh allowed in but Brace and Liz and Hasan aren't? Like how do you get in, you don't just buy a ticket?

Liberals hate socialists, they’re simply embarrassed by fascists

Mike Lindell and Matt Walsh allow the DNC suck-ups to rally and create a spectacle beneficial to their circus "Look everyone, we're owning the Trumpers"

Brace, Liz and Hasan instead create only doubts among party loyalists, they bring up issues the party elite want people to forget about, leftists become the party poopers while the Republican scum provide that day's raucous entertainment

Yeah I mean I get how letting them in doesn't help the party, I'm more curious about the process - like does the DNC screen every attendee at the door and check them against a list of people forbidden? And like if so how many people are on the list, how is this list made, etc. Or were Brace and Liz kicked out and put on a blacklist because they were fucking around?

Brace and Liz need to smarten up their infiltration game. Any gumshoe should own disguises, not necessarily to make you look like a different person as you approach the normal entrance, but to look like your allowed through the back. You can just buy security guard uniforms from people that had that job, I got mine from a thrift store. Get a dress shirt and a vaguely red vest and you're hotel staff. Wear a high vis and have a dolley full of boxes and say you're with Sysco. The best way past for surveillance purposes is just to be 'with somebody'.

letting right wingers in allows the DNC to go "look, we accept criticism from the other side" because they recognize that Democrats already disagree with everything they're gonna say about the speeches whereas someone like Liz, Brace or Hasan might make certain criticisms of the party that they don't want getting out because some liberals/progressives and independents may take them seriously. They also want right wing attacks against them bc that's the way they're moving anyway so it's a form of confirmation bias.

The Democrats absolutely do not want any leftist criticisms of their party being platformed at the DNC, even on an independent stream.

I'm just surprised they didn't full on invite all the Republican craziest like they did the influencers. They could parade them like the never trump Republicans they had speak/think vote in larger numbers than their base

They had a bunch of Republicans speak at the convention.

Hell, Hasan said on stream they let Kellwyanne Conway in!

It wasn’t even press credentials. It was his credentials to be on that particular floor.

Overton window: The far right are only concerned about complaining and advocating about stuff they're allowed to complain and advocate about; they can argue about DEI and white supremacy because these are ridiculous positions and you can argue clearly evil positions and pretend you're the good guy; what the heck are you supposed to say to someone calling out the genocide of the Palestinians and America's role in providing a never ending supply of bombs to Israel so that the Palestinians can't have one night of peace? At the very start of all this they may have been able to (erroneously/deceptively) make the argument they're fighting Hamas, 10 months on and a literally flattened Gaza later with a massive amount of murders and literal videos of horrific stuff the IDF has been doing, it's impossible to argue the point without sounding like a literal ghoul, and they don't want to have to sound like they're evil.

Matt Walsh (and Mike Lindell? I don't know who this is) just wants to argue stupid stuff like companies hiring black people or Walz being an anti-white racist because he makes white guy tacos or whatever.
