I am convinced that Israel has realized that it can't survive a drawn out conflict, and will endlessly provoke literally all of it's neighbors until things have escalated to the point that the US feels the need to properly enter the fray.
Edited: Bad wording on my part in the first one. I'm just tired - not awful
Israel was using white phosphorus in lebanon but..... Lebanon is the one escalating?
Nah, I'm just a normal person without an editor. MB fam
Israel is completely fucking nuts. Genocide isn't enough. Time for a large scale regional war. Fuck them and fuck the US who is equally as complicit in this insanity
Might want to reword that, just so it doesn't come off the wrong way. "As if genocide wasn't enough" or something
Well the thing is genocide is already the most evil crime. That's what I'm trying to point out. And regional war will also cause massive death and destruction. Basically the evil Israel is down to do seems limitless. I am convinced Israel would be happy to wipe off every middle eastern country off the face of the planet. They know the existence of Israel as it is now is a complete glitch in reality. And they're losing their minds. And they won't stop.
she's saying that someone could accidentally read your comment is "Genocide isnt enough [of a punishment towards israel, for being nuts]", not that your point is wrong
Oh ok. Yeah that's not what I meant. I don't have the American or Israeli mindset
What makes you think they only want to wipe out everyone in the Middle East?
That's America. And they've been doing it nonstop for, shit I don't even know how long.
because Israeli soldiers have patches of "Greater Israel"?
Fascists are always like this, because fascism is at its core an ideology without any material grounding. It's all fantasy.
They imagine themselves as the supermen that can never be stopped and can never lose, that every loss they've ever had was only a temporary setback and that they are always marching towards Greater Israel. Their whole project isn't based in reality.
The Germans were exactly the same. It's really fascinating watching history repeat itself despite a near century of "progress"
Escalation is when you patiently allow the enemy to continually ratchet up the level of violence.
The more patient you are the more escalation it is!
I can never tell what you people are even trying to say at this point. Can we just lay things out instead of trying to turn it into an epic one-liner or sarcastic quip? What are you even trying to say?
When are we ever going to be in a more serious situation than this? Can we just talk normally instead of being like "Iran is chudpilled tonight!!!" and filtering everything through ten layers of internet irony that most people moved on from after 2017?
I do well on all the autism tests when lying to get a lower score, so you're obliged to answer or it's a dick move.
Hezbollah are being accused of escalating the conflict even though they were not the aggressors.
Who is "you people?" You're responding to a person from the same instance.
What @Pentacat@hexbear.net said. Israel has escalated the conflict at every step.
Iran is not very axisofresistancepilled lately, making everyone wait on their new resisting western imperialist aggression arc. Certifiably not retaliationmaxxing.
sorry but also lol
That's a fair point
I had meant purely that I didn't recall a Hezbollah retaliation as wide scale as this before now. Clearly they're being intentionally provoked, and are not in any sense the aggressors here.
What do you think is a better way to say it? I will edit
Edit: I just made it super academic and it fixed it as far as I can see.
I'd say Hezbollah 'retaliates' or 'strikes back' or even just neutral 'responds', rather than escalates.
The US will properly burn to the ground if our kids get sent to die in “Israel’s” war. No chance the US enters without Mossad doing a false flag mass casualty attack within the US.
I recently saw polling that showed the majority of Americans oppose sending troops to support Israel.
So, yeah. If US troops are deployed in the region I'd expect the homefront to become a problem.
And Western media will continue to do all sorts of mental gymnastics to make it seem like Hamas are the ones that are holding up talks.
