Like I said earlier, I haven't watched MLP in years. I like plenty of age-appropriate things, but there's nothing wrong with liking things that aren't specifically targeted to your demographic. To me, that's the bigger sign of late-stage neoliberal crap - that everything you consume has to be specifically tailored to your demographic and your identity. You can't just have your own reasons for enjoying something, you have to consume the product that's made for you in the way that it was intended.
But it was funnier to just answer "No," and like I said this stuff isn't really that big of a deal.

Attacking the people who watch a show and acting like it's the show itself they're defending when they respond is pretty fucking disingenuous. If you'd said something like "It's the worst show made" or whatever I probably wouldn't have given your comment a second thought.
You claim you're opposing neoliberalism (great praxis, by the way!) when you're defining people by the media they consume, which is about as neoliberal as it gets.

Yes, because grown adults using children's entertainment as their primary point of reference for analyzing the world is abnormal and unhealthy, and not in a cool way. I get you're trying to be a cool guy who doesn't judge or whatever but sometimes judging people is actually good.
