Lmao they’re all over anything that mentions him. What’s sad is that most of them are grown adults talking like edgy teenagers.

Destiny and his gremlins literally only exist to seethe at Hasan every chance they get, and he barely acknowledges their existence

he used to be a D tier starcraft competitor. It makes more sense when you realize it's a gamertag from a decade and a half or more ago. He didn't make that up for his debate bro phase, he just couldn't compete and over time found more viewers and money in being a debate bro. it was weird finding him doing that after not being online for a good while when last I remember was him being a starcraft player

Friends of the pod is deeply cursed, they even occasionally get in beef with eachother (for example pointing out that one of the hosts of their pod went on Survivor during, they insist, the most important political campaign of their lives)

Sometimes the podjons and the guests can be too centrist even for them, it's always fun to see their hairsbreadth left of centre critiques

Maybe my favorite example of what you're talking about was after the first debate - podjons were visibly shaken by his performance and were floating replacing him, and the subreddit and most of the lib media world absolutely lost it.

That was my favorite day of this campaign (so far)

They included some clips of those statements, idk. They're obviously pretty out of context but it's admittedly not Hasan's best moment. I don't know what the broader context was there, and the guy who clipped it seems like a Destiny troll obviously looking for fodder to comment on. I'm sure he keeps talking about that take where the clip abruptly cuts off - maybe he clarifies or walks it back - but without knowing where it came from myself I can't say for sure.

As someone who doesn't watch Hasan, I was wondering if that was true. That was the only point that sounded bad, everything else sounded frankly, awesome, or like the same purposeful misconstruing of anti-Zionism with antisemitism.

iirc he said something along the lines of 'the one good thing about all these private school kids segregating themselves into these super elite schools away from everybody else is that at least they won't be hurting and being sex pests to normal people, just each other'
