Defenders are saying that its muh pointing out hYpOcRaCy but come on.
Sadly, libs think pointing this out will make chuds go “Hmmm I hate trans people and Trump said bad thing about trans people, but he also did nice thing for trans people, guess I’ll vote for the person saying nice things about trans people.”
It's basically just two far-right parties, racing to compete for who can be furthest right, while trying to pretend they're the "lesser evil" to the left- and also trying to pander to the already infinitely-pandered right. Hellworld (describes the political processes of all of the west really)
libs still do treat "hypocrisy" like it is magic, even though they have extensive experience in making ridiculous excuses for every time dems are 'forced' to act against their stated goals.
does it ever occur to them that a trump supporter simply brushes such information aside as "deep state" or (liberal favorite) "the courts" making him do it
This was a landmark turning point for the Harris campaign where they realized they were being flanked from the left by a Trump campaign that learned from their troublesome past. The Dems went on to educate themselves and empowered the LGBT with praxis making everyone more free to express themselves and not be harmed for doing so.
... right?
I got downvoted on reddit less than a day ago for saying they would throw trans people under the bus
Looks like trans folk are about to go through a hellish time. Being used as pawns like that in this election where both sides say "Fuck you" isn't going to end well.
This is an appeal to believers in American meritocracy. They’re saying that the presidency is for people who are competent and Trump is not that. He believes bad things but then he’s too incompetent to act on them. And that incompetency is bad.
