I can never keep these straight. there's one version that's TERF shit and another that's about being more inclusive of gender identities (a la latinx). the latter is a nice thought but no one who struggles when called a woman is really going to be any happier with a word that's effectively the same out the gate. it makes more sense in the latinx context because the gender marker is carried in the last letter - womxn is at best read as woman* which is even worse when you consider the position of trans women.
same! if it were actually helpful to NB comrades in some way, that would be one thing, but in practice, I feel like womxn is the nicer version of the terfy womyn.
