I've just recently gotten into photography, and I've purchased a Canon Rebel T1i. Well, when i went to buy it, the tax made it go over my budget, by two dollars and fifteen cents. I called up my parents and asked for 2 dollars. My mom then blew her fucking lid on me about how asking for money is taking advantage of her and she didn't agree to pay me and how i should just fucking save more next time- We're not poor, either. Anyone else deal with something like this before?

I remember working something like 60 days in a row in my post-college economy. When I got back home after working two jobs one day I had to do laundry and my mom said something like, "I don't know, it's not as if the rest of us have to change our living habits to let you use the laundry because you can't budget properly and change jobs every few years."

Anyway, I left the country to earn a living. Lived on a rural island in Asia my first year. My parents told me to toughen up and make sacrifices, so they can toughen up too about the fact they only see their child once every few years now.
