interesting video, mostly the universal translator bit. I hadn't considered that before. Anyway I could make a similar video and all eight points could just be "star trek is written by hollywood liberals". It would be cool to see a season of trek written by actual socialists who put some real thought into the universe.

I think the video creator is drawing conclusions from a lot of disconnected ideas from different writers across decades of Star Trek.
