What turned me to the left wasn't Bernie per se, but how the DNC was exposed to be cheating in Hil's favor and how the Wikileaks report that exposed it was buried by the media.

There was a clear party interest in opposing leftward movement, and a clear media collusion in that.

      This greatly disillusioned me

There was some obscure coin toss thing in Iowa to determine delegate numbers in the primary, Hilary "won" six in a row with a ~1.5 percent probability

It definitely pushed me to examine my own chauvinism, even if i had considered myself a radical long before Bernard

Still, it was wild to have a shred of optimism

He was at least an amerikkka politician I had some respect for. I'd already lost all respect for him because of his groveling for Biden and finding out that he voted in favor of bombing Serbia, but his neocon and Israel lover arc has made me give me strength to comrade heart attack.

Wonder what the numbers are or how folks here got pushed to it. For me just being from the global south I found it in other ways.

I'm not even from the US, but it was inspiring to see what he was doing out there anyways... ah well, nevertheless
