My favourite thing about this person is their twitter bio indicates they hold a bunch of positions an academic might. Not because they've done original research or anything, they're a professional opinion haver, but by licking enough boots they've been made chairs of various dumb things.
Not to say academia doesn't have a bootlicking fetish, but it really exposes the meritocracy for what it is when you appoint someone who doesn't hold a PhD, or publish in academic journals, to these positions simply because they hold views favourable to capital.
