The fun part is that they called the cops immediately after it was installed. Couldn't even go 20 minutes without police descending on it lmao

On Twitter it looks like the priest involved with this is raising money to feed, clothe, and house the homeless so it's possible the statue being in the news will get a lot more donations
It seems that this decoy has drawn the ire of all the people calling the cops. Fuck America though seriously. One side is performative, the other side is openly contemptuous and violent.
but this statue might be distracting police from the actual homeless people if people keep calling 911 on it

But then, they could've put in one or more benches, too.
I mean it’s one bench. And apparently the priest who installed it is using the publicity to raise money to clothe, feed and house homeless people so I think we can let this one slide
It's a pretty dope sculpture though. Saw it live in front of a church, really takes you by surprise in a good way.
