This next one is great. Lots of factoids about the election. We love a good factoid don't we folks? a-little-trolling

Show

The only issue with these factoids, that I can see, is Kamala was running her race against Donald Trump in 2024, not 2020. Ah well, nevertheless, what is the passage of time anyway?

Trust the plan, comrades! Patriots are in control! I just realized this person announces themselves as a "concerned kiwi"... not even an American. Regardless, this actually seems like a pretty common sentiment among BlueAnon.

ruthkanda-forever The liberalism is out of control in this subreddit at times. When it's not a total doomer fest, it's whatever this "senseless hope" vibe is.

This place is pretty easy pickings. I can't imagine what this sub will be like post certification, and post inauguration. I'll be keeping an eye on it for sure.

Couple hilarious things about the overall lib meltdown going on over on reddit.

The first thing is it's hilarious that they're pointing to betting markets being accurate as evidence cheating happened is hilarious. Nope it just turns out that if you go to any website that doesn't exclusively upvote articles that say Kamal is winning it turns out nobody thought this was newly as wrapped up as they all did (again). Seriously, on the night of the election even as she was losing the front page of politics was just every "kamala has won vermont" article while all the ones saying Trump won a state were totally downvoted.

The second is them suddenly being shocked they're in an echo chamber after banning anybody who criticizes the drms from the left, meaning the only criticism they saw of kamala was from chuds with totally baseless complaints like "a step daughter doesn't count as a kid" and "you can't be black and indian" so then they just wrote off any valid criticism as one of those people who were just better at hiding their power level.

And of course as a result of losing another ledcti9n after ignoring and actively silencing all the people telling them ahead of time precisely how why and how badly theybwere going to lose, their ultimate take away is just "nah the chuds cheated" and then rapidly become the exact thing they claim to hate.

and then rapidly become the exact thing they claim to hate.

I'll say it again, a lib is just a closteted fascist, a conservative lib has already opened the door. Libs don't need much provocation to open the door and threaten to step out.

Racism is the black hole at the center of liberalism, it cannot be perceived directly but it's evident by the way it distorts everything around it.

That’s from our very own @ BeamBrain@hexbear.net. Not sure how to tag users tho

I’m pretty sure it’s a sight tagline as well. If not it needs to be!

”White supremacy is the black hole at the center of liberal thought: not directly observable, but made apparent by how all of their other ideas orbit around it.”

    Cope harder libs.

dems lost. Fin. It wasn’t a conspiracy. It was just an asswhipping. Turns out that either: Democrats abandoned the working class, Democrats shoved Khive down our throats, or a lot of folks who considered themselves Dems are disenfranchised w the Democratic Party and just stayed home. I have no idea which it was because I’m too stupid.

Instead of looking around to see if they’re the fkn bad guys, they’re falling all over themselves to pull the republicans shtick?

    The mind bottles.

Here's the thing. Is the US election system totally corrupt and compromised, such that democracy is something of a joke? Yes.

If you scratch hard at the numbers and the voting patterns, are you going to find some fucked coincidences? Absolutely.

Does the more ruthless and fashistic party disproportionately benefit from this system? Without a doubt.

Does that mean Democrats were secretly so popular that they should have won 2024 after all? no-thats-wrong

For anyone interested, a Factoid is a speculation that gets repeated to the point people treat it as a fact.

I only checked you because i thought you might be doin' a foolin' and in so doing learned the caveat that the definition specifically includes the press:

A piece of unverified or inaccurate information that is presented in the press as factual, often as part of a publicity effort, and that is then accepted as true because of frequent repetition.

Not all definitions are as press-specific but the guy who invented the term did implicate them during its coining:

We can thank Norman Mailer for factoid: he used the word in his 1973 book Marilyn (about Marilyn Monroe), and he is believed to be the coiner of the word. In the book, he explains that factoids are "facts which have no existence before appearing in a magazine or newspaper, creations which are not so much lies as a product to manipulate emotion in the Silent Majority"

      neat!

Yup, this is why I get a small laugh out of people like the redditor above throwing the term around like that. If you know what's up, it comes off as a kind of self report lol.

My favorite part is when you ask them what you do when it is 100% proven that an election was stolen. Like, January 6th (and more) is the correct move, especially if the captured judiciary is going to sweep a stolen election under the rug/avoid doing anything about it. But these people are glued to the institutions.

What do you people do if it is undeniable that an election was stolen? The answer is vote more?

Anyway I'm gunna go smoke more crack and post on that subreddit.
