    They should be at least a little concerned. The relative weakness of the Left in the US hides the massive generation gap that exists. The UK is like this as well, to a lesser extent. People born after 1980 or so have very little faith in the neoliberal consensus, and haven't gotten the same level of anti-communist propaganda as older generations
