I'd love that and I'm not even as new as some of these other people.

Would also love to know what the deal with the beanis thing is.

A lot of things like beanis are just cause it's funny. I've been using hexbear lingo irl long enough my co workers know what 'treatbrained ' means but there is for sure some dense terminology going on even when it's dumb as hell.

'Treats' are shorthand for basically any luxury to an extent but and to be 'treatbrained' is to have some sort of fetishism for some form of consumable or entertainment product. It makes more sense when read in context consistently.

"treats" has an added connotation of... something like triviality, imo

like yachts are disgusting luxury but not a treat, treats are your cheesecake factory and video games

/c/badposting sprung a leak in the most vegan-friendly way possible. That's it. That's the whole origin story. Someone made a shitpost and we're still running with it to this day, like many things in the Hexbear/CTH lexicon. (Hexicon?)
