Natalie's theory of change is having meetings with Hillary Clinton

I think contrapoints is ok for "radicalizing" liberals a bit, but she is a liberal deep down and a shill for Obama and Hillary Clinton

I disagree. All her fans just seem to stay Libs, now they're just more articulate and aesthetically creative Libs which makes them more annoying.

From my experience, when I was a "baby leftist" aka anti "tankie" lib, what got me into reading was "watching" some of her videos. Later, when I got more knowlegable I started to absolutely despise her and hate her "politics".

But if she has a parasocial relationship with her fans, similar to the one Vaush has then I agree, maybe I just didn't take all of her words for granted like her viewers do

I'd say the people who've stuck around to support her are liberals. It's possible she did radicalize a bunch of people and they're some of the ones dunking on her.

I think a lot of those people were headed that way anyway, and without contra they would have ended up here regardless. If anything she delayed their evolution.

She was pretty good in 2017-2018 (up until the truscum/enbyphobic stuff), but once she started spiraling, god damn.

I remember her having some real influence when she was doing her videos about incels and 4chan and such. She (understandably) didn't want to be the trans "incel-whisperer" and moved on to making whatever it is she makes now.

I definitely got a few people interested in her videos in 2019 or so who were encountering the idea of socialism for the first time. Don't know if they continued beyond her stuff as I don't work with them anymore.

First off, when has a liberal ever done anything. Second, if an action is leftist it ceases to be right-wing.

Killing CEOs is a leftist act that empowered leftist discussion about healthcare.

And why are we supposed to throw away this leftist act because the perpetrator may have had questionable takes? Nobody's perfect, and people change. Some of the decisions made here make me question if this place is a psyop

I kind of regard the situation as a “critical support” sort of thing. These sorts of “dubious person does something good” situations are generally where the concept is applied, aren’t they?

no one is asking for that. they're just asking people to stop inventing a redemption arc for this dude so they can justify riding him into the sunset

he did something cool. that's all. treating him as a hero is goofy shit

And even if he did have questionable takes, we can't even be sure the guy was even the real shooter and not just a patsy
