the maoist uprising against the landlords was the largest and most comprehensive proletarian revolution in history, and led to almost totally-equal redistribution of land among the peasantry

This is uh, a bit illegal isn't it? Offering financial incentive for a vote?

Don't know about that, it's always worth fucking with landlords. Especially if they sent everyone the same letter and you can just be like "hey guys, let's organize and sue this asshole". It's a slam dunk case and will build solidarity with tenants (if you get a settlement, be sure to announce it to everyone and you immediately have a tenant union because no one wants to miss out on the next settlement)

Uh no, reporting them for extortion and vote buying intensifies.

this landlord in 2006 cared about their trailer park tenants for realsies tho:

"We're a small community here, mostly low income. If they shut down the water to all these people where are they all going to live?"

are they "low income" or do they need rent to double (sauce)

(this quote specifically was concerning aquifer use, apparently the trailer park is above an aquifer and Pagel somewhat illicitly supplied water to the park through wells despite not having rights to the aquifer's use)
