Same with stem cell research.

It's probably the biggest hint at Matt and Trey's reactionary conservative views.

Oh you mean like when they had a running gag comparing believing in climate change to searching for big foot?

Just tell them "that's a slur for downs people" and they'll stop really fast with next to no resistance and all apologies. Its common use by brits is entirely accidental and not really reactionary. People here just genuinely have no idea is attached to anything bad. It's pretty much thought of like lampshade, wally or spanner in terms of severity, it's that casual because of the ignorance level and everyone is almost always happy to change when they're properly informed of why.

Idk there are definitely some left themes in the show, especially in later seasons. They're basically just stupidpol.

I assumed that was about Gore kinda changed pretty aggressively in a broad sense after he lost the election. He went from being a centrist to being at least as left as Warren and then got a divorce.

As a child I was just viscerally repulsed by South Park. Kid me had good instincts.

I was always turned off by it, and I'm glad I was. The fucking Simpsons has 10x better political takes than that steaming pile of trash.

Out of every media that I enjoyed before becoming a leftist, South Park is the one that took the greatest fall. I still enjoy most of the early stuff but whenever they both sides an issue that shouldn’t have a both sides I tune it out.

I remember when Comedy Central aired the "sex change" surgery footage live without warning. These things mess with you for years. I almost went full chud because of that at one point.

My Dad used South Park as evidence that I am not trans. Never watched it, already know I never will.

Pc babies was a reaction to Matt and Trey being cancelled for having really shitty views and contributing to how removed and vicious modern conservatives are

I'm pretty sure south park gave my entire middle school class brainworms. Most of those kids have never recovered

They're conservative, they're just not fascist. They pretty much take the stance that caring about most things makes you a loser and real men accept the status quo and don't care about anything.

I just saw an episode randomly that ended with the moral that protesting doesn't accomplish anything and that we need the right wing because "theyre strong and wed be taken over by china without them"

          Fucking idiots
