I'm meeting a very cute guy tomorrow who so far seems like a liberal and anti-trump but generally not very concerned with politics. Should I try to hint at my anti-capitalist worldview over time and try to slowly shift his views? Should I try to immediately talk about it very openly and see how he reacts to it? Or will that scare him off? But does it matter if he gets scared off? Should I only be looking for people who already share my views? Or would that be narrowing my options too much? Basically, how much should I rant about capitalism on this date tomorrow?

He's been working a shitty service job but is about to move to a bigger deal programming job. I definitely could relate the struggles of working to the bigger picture, I have already talked to him about shorter work weeks which he agreed with so maybe that's a good sign I could reach him, or maybe he is more left than he appears

Hopefully you can reach him before the money does. Maybe it's not as simple as this, but I always thought the more money you make the more out of touch you become. Programming is still work so he will probably still be overworked because of shifty manager's that don't know how to plan, so maybe talking about worker co-ops would do the trick, idk play it by ear. Good luck.
