Honestly, I'd be really happy if I got a reply. I don't mind if people don't upvote me, but that fact someone took the time to engage with me means a lot. Some people tend to like posts and comments and forget to upvote, such as myself. Internet points don't matter, but having another person in this world decide to have a conversation with me or at least have a response related to my words gives me a sense of community and that people are interested in what I talk about.

it works especially well now that the democrats unmasked and went wholesale dgaf about a genocide that they're committing and then turned around a escalated that genocide into a flirtation with ww3 when they no longer needed the votes.

Yeah, part of why I turned off upvotes. I care far more if someone takes the time of day to reply to me over just reading, upvoting and scrolling away
