What country would tolerate the president sicing his mob on officials let alone reelect the fucking guy BACK to the highest office of the land?

I asked a friend of mine and they said Biden couldn't do anything because it would start a civil war.

    Ah, well, nevertheless.

Which is crazy, because if you believe the fascist is about to take power, the only move is to go to war. "we have to let the fascist take power so people don't die" is just nonsense

A fascist country founded on greed, war and vanity. It was rotten from the start. Donald Trump reflects the true values of the USA perfectly, of course the people want him.

Unironically, I think if Biden declared Trump a terrorist/aid to terrorism, and had him detained without trial in Guantanamo, Kamala would've won by a landslide.

Kamala would have lost, because most people in the US would write-in Joseph Biden

it's the country whose only opposition party tried to emulate trump's party so much that it drove away their own voters.

to put it into perspective: trump gained votes roughly equivalent to population of las vegas; but harris lost roughtly 5x the entire state of nevada's worth of voters compared to biden. (las vegas resides in the state of nevada and las vegas makes up roughly 20% of the state of nevada's population).

I suggest always using the "metro area" population for cities in most cases, as the division between a city and a "suburb" is almost always a political one, rather than an economic one.

An outsider who had never been to LV before or looked at a political map of the area would not walk/drive around and then conclude that it is a city of 600k people. Not to mention that the Vegas strip that is the economic focal point of the city is not even in city limits.

(Particularly in North America) City limits are developed for the purposes of "superstructuring" class society, they don't really exist on their own terms. A proper [socialist] government would incorporate key metro areas into a strong regional government to smooth this out.

Libs are really breaking their elbows today patting themselves on the back for politely letting the guy they screamed is a fascist for years smoothly take all political power from them.

It's all just sloganeering, I bet the Dems hired a really expensive advertising firm to come up with it. They needed something really big and scary to paint Trump, all to avoid the fact that under the Dems/Biden, inflation is crazy, and there's a major War and Genocide going on.

I agree with Finkelstein, Trump is a dangerous rightwinger, but the dangers of fascism is highly exaggerated. Remember Fascism is the bourgeoisie's response to a threat from strong Left/Socialist/Communist movement. There is no Left movement in the US that threatens the US bourgeoisie, the opposite, they are still reaping huge profits.

I've been asking the same thing the past few years. The fact that libs never even question something this obvious is astounding to me

USA is a functional democracy (unlike all the socialist states that are so unstable their leaders always end up assassinated by the CIA)

I'm sure millions reluctantly voted for Trump the same way millions reluctantly voted for Kamala. That's the point of bourgeois democracy right

"hello mister starlink, can you explain how an unlikeable candidate with exactly zero primary votes who alienated her voter base by supporting genocide, offering no solutions to people's worsening material conditions, and campaigning with Liz fucking Cheney could have possibly lost?"

Oh i love this. The liberals are gonna start pretending Trump stole the election after spending the last 4 years feigning being upset about Trump and his idiot followers doing the exact same thing lmao. There really is no difference between your two teams.

yes, you should kinetically "ask" billionaires why they let a man be elected after their media organs called him mecha-hitler 2000 for a decade
