Do you think they'll ever come to their senses and actively campaign against the EC/Two-party system in future or are you normal?

There was this coalition of corporate Democrats and Never Trump Republicans who got together and did some "war games" to play out different outcomes of the 2020 election. The coalition was called the Transitional Integrity Project, and they put out a report that documented their findings. It's interesting to read, if only to get a feel for what the dems are planning for.

In response to your question, the report details something interesting about the electoral college. Basically, dems understand that people are fed up with it, but in the case that trump wins the electoral college and loses the popular vote, they are planning to use that outrage to "overturn certified results in states with Democratic Governors and [negotiate] hard for permanent structural reforms in exchange for recognition of a Trump victory" (8).

The democrats know that people will be angry and fed up with the system if trump wins. They are willing to concede to a trump win, despite any election fraud, just to reform the electoral college. They would prefer placating people with minor reforms (who even says that the reforms will work?) because that will allow them to continue to rule with the illusion of democratic consent, instead of facing whatever revolutionary fury that a trump win might inspire in liberal democrats

"Revolutionary fury" and "liberal democrats" are oxymorons. To be a Liberal in 2020 means that you rabidly support existing institutions and trust the media.

"Revolutionary fury" can align with existing institutions and media. It's called a color revolution.

The "Never Trump" Republicans are more of a myth created by the liberal media than anything else.

He has an over 90% approval rating with Republicans. Currently at 94% making him the most popular GOP president since Reagan.

Democrats are fucking idiots and spent the last 10 years whitewashing George W Bush to the point they are convinced all they have to do is run their very own version of Bush in Biden and that it will attract those middle class suburban white people they want to vote for them so bad that they failed to reach when they ran Hillary.
