"In some of the new letters, ATF has begun listing the following “objective design features” when making its evaluations:

Incorporation of rifle sights;
Utilization of "rifle caliber ammunition" (both 5.56mm and 7.62mm have been considered as such);
Incorporation of “rifle-length barrel;”1
The “weapon’s heavy weight;”
Ability to accept magazines that range in capacity from 20 rounds to 100 rounds, “which will contribute to the overall weight of the firearm”; and
Overall length of the weapon which “creates a front-heavy imbalance when held in one hand.”

... Under ATF’s new interpretation of the handgun definition, millions of AR-15 style pistols could be considered “too large, or too heavy” to fall within ATF’s new interpretation, thereby making them unregistered NFA weapons, and subjecting manufacturers and gun owners to criminal prosecution."

        its a pretty small makeup of the population so i can get how you arent aware lmao but yeah

        i dont think (at least with labels being used to fuck with our supposedly non tamperable 2nd am) right now i can get with binary labels for guns

        im somewhat inbetween calling all guns toast or straps

        like all i see in that comment is a lot of burners / toast / straps / poles

            because with the labels they are using they are with the then labeled things (which millions of people overnight are felons at this point, keep in mind this is because of these labels)

            also, definitely not a liberal thing the second amendment here, and also if "duh" then the second amendment which says it should not be imposed on in ANY way is being imposed on with these things, and has already by things like this

            so you take a country foaming at the mouth for federal violence / etc and it sets a bad precident, not even just that though people are so uneducated about them here en mass that they get scared when something "looks like a assault rifle" even though all they did was use polymer furniture on a SKS (super old semi auto, border line hunting rifle)

            i could go on but eh, its super late here but see the problem?

            also sbrs here are super stupid to deal with (tax stamp, cash expenses, 1yr waiting period most of the time, etc etc) so the pistol classification was cool for getting something this style, also this government goes DUMB with fucking with bureaucratic nightmarish systems so theres that too, not even mentioning this has been regular for years and years all to turn around and be like

            meh, fuck all of you

            and if you look at the system they are using to judge these things BOI

            its so dumb, like go take a look, all to create felons instantly for over 3+ million people over nothing (10 years federal prison NOT a jail ((big difference))

                im not sure what liberal definition you are referring to but op in america at least what we have here is the other of the two parties (libs) that is very for gun control / policies against those rights

                thats why you see so much lib hate here because theres the chud conservatives (ew), libs (ew), and the left (us)

                also the founding fathers owned slaves so at this point as leftists we have a love / hate relationship with them and were just trying not to lose the rights we have right now, and if that means a "rifle" that is technically, or at least was, a pistol, you cant hate on the classification as it technically is on some level true and was legal
