    Performative bullshit always interests me. What people 1) saw this 2) are still undecided a week before the election/are considering Trump 3) reeallllyy like Pete, Liz, and Tenacious D enough to listen to what they say 4) will be convinced by a song? Probably 0, and they did it anyway

        That is my point- it should be apparent to anyone who puts a few seconds thought to it that there is no outreach here, yet libs will gobble this up without critical thought. Liz, Pete and TD get to feel like they did something, and when it doesn't pan out they'll be all confused and blame anyone besides the Dems with shitty platforms

      Having just researched Tenacious D like three weeks ago, I'm very disappointed in them :( the movie holds up surprisingly well, but is firmly in the smoke weed genre of movies that just aren't very popular anymore it seems
