and deny women healthcare through both your incompetence and malice

Hey hey hey, they are denying healthcare to everyone

In this context I'm criticising them for giving the supreme court to anti-feminists on top of attacking universal healthcare in general. They've willfully alienated half the population from any direct incentive to vote for them.

Performative bullshit always interests me. What people 1) saw this 2) are still undecided a week before the election/are considering Trump 3) reeallllyy like Pete, Liz, and Tenacious D enough to listen to what they say 4) will be convinced by a song? Probably 0, and they did it anyway

That is my point- it should be apparent to anyone who puts a few seconds thought to it that there is no outreach here, yet libs will gobble this up without critical thought. Liz, Pete and TD get to feel like they did something, and when it doesn't pan out they'll be all confused and blame anyone besides the Dems with shitty platforms

When you have no meaningful theory of change (aka you’re a lib) performative bullshit is all you have left

Having just researched Tenacious D like three weeks ago, I'm very disappointed in them :( the movie holds up surprisingly well, but is firmly in the smoke weed genre of movies that just aren't very popular anymore it seems

Warren’s new rap album, Cherokee Chooming, went ultraplatinum soon after brunch on the day of its release.

hit singles "Great Plans Indian", "No Place Like 'Homa", and "Bernie's Scalp",

Yeah if I was watching that on a walk I would in fact jump to the left - from the sidewalk and into traffic.

This is my exact same opinion (and I think you're referencing the "Learn to Fly" video?) on them so I will stand with you in solidarity.

Pretty sure we're time warping back four years, but all the stats nerds keep telling me "this time it's different, tho", so we'll see...
