I can't wait to see the dollar crash and the Bretton-Woods accords rendered completely void. Who could've thought printing money endlessly could have consequences ???

From what I understand it's actually fundamentally fine to print money as long as the money gets used to build infrastructure and education instead of just giving it to billionaires.

It's definitely not stupid, we all want this shit to end, and if the market crashes, it'll provide ample fuel for discontent for any socialist movement, no matter where on the globe. We already lived through 2008, and never recovered, so people will have to get mad at some point.

calm reminder that the economic collapse leading up to 2008 due to bushes policies also led to maoists taking power in nepal

how much you wanna bet the next collapse will lead to the phillippines falling to maoism?

Yeah true, I guess I'm just pessimistic. I think a market crash would just fuck us and the rich will just consolidate and be fine

The rich won’t be fine if even a small percentage of society decides that violence Against them or seizure of assets is necessary.

Probably a combination of the race riots, the election, multiple trade wars, coronavirus, and the fact the economy was just a bunch of bubbles waiting to explode. It's incredible how long it is lasting under these circumstances

God, please keep fucking dropping. Being unemployed and unable to go back because I live with someone immunocompromised has me relying on a stimulus check, but here we are ~90 days later with no deal.
