Breadtube is a community of youtubers who get on eachother's videos, do high production video essays (often with lots of pop culture critique), and say "capitalism is lame yo" without generally much political content. It's not just every leftist on YouTube, and it trends towards anarchists and SocDems.
And definitely not a breadtuber. I know them from back when we were /r/socialism mods together and they wouldn't ever let themselves be lumped in with Lindsay Ellis.
I think they banned Hakim, too, or at the very least the userbase there is very hostile to him. Same with BadEmpanada. Nothing worse you can do on there than refute imperial propaganda (though I think BA415 is not very good at doing that tbh).
I like puppets fine but EJ really rubs me the wrong way too, especially onscreen with Luna. He has good stuff once in a while though. Luna is so much better. Honestly she should take over his channel.
It kinda plays into the kinda smug and condescending tone I get from him. His answer to everything being co-ops while living in Vietnam is off-putting as well.
This is PhilosophyTube erasure (maybe). Like, he has moments of libness (Soviet Union? Is bad??) but I feel like his actual criticisms of the USSR are the ones stemming from the left, rather than the right.
i have stopped watching olly, but i remember in his old videos he was a marxist, but really i dont really like the breadtube label, it puts marxists and anarchists with liberals, these 2 groups have no middle ground, at least :anarchy: and marxists are socialists but libs only care about saving the system
He's been a guest on Trashfuture a few times (one of them was within the last month or so) and in his most recent video he flat out said "I don't like Democrats and I don't like Obama", so I think we can safely say not a lib

Luna rules, can't fucking stand Noncompete. He also talks over/for her on the few streams I've seen (couple years ago). That and I hate puppets.
