Just stunning that this happened. SF voting to unseal was the only bright part of this story. Makes me just sick to my stomach.

Sinn Fein are libs. If they could sell workers out to get a united Ireland, they would without blinking.

God the "wholesome Francis posting" drives me nuts. Yeah that dude uses a lot of weasel words to make it sound cool what he is saying, but actually dig into the details and you'll see he doesn't actually deviate much from standard Catholic doctrine.

Literally what tradcaths are saying in the twitter replies. "Actually the records were sealed because they would exonerate the church..."

Yeah, like, I got a big septic tank full of 800 dead children in my back yard, no biggie. Wanna take a look?

So what I'm getting from this is that the Catholic Church is opposed to abortion not because they're opposed to baby killing, but because they want to be able to baptize the babies first? Is that why they were doing this?

The Catholic Church was indifferent about birth control until the black plague wiped out most of the working people in the middle ages and tradesmen could suddenly charge good money for their skills, as there were less workers available.

This is also when they started persecuting witches, as they had herbal abortion remedies and knowledge that was widely used.

Someone high up in the church connected to someone high up in the government.

You don't get elevated in the church unless you have those useful political connections.
