Bacurau is an awesome Brazilian film, super violent but very entertaining

Chance is a (two seasons) tv show that shows the futility of Liberalism and its inexorable slide into fascism when faced with the grim realities of real life problems (not really but that's what I took from it, it stars the guy from House)
I like when they have a prison revolt. Also it's funny as fuck that basically all humans are dead except a handful and they still do a West Wing style lib moment where Democracy prevails

There's also a documentary called The Overnighters about workers who came up to North Dakota during the 2010s oil boom.
