Gloria wasn't an option in my state, so I didn't have to decide, but I'm still not sure I would have if I could have. I listened to a 45 min interview with Gloria during a third party town hall and... well, to say this nicely, she's got Biden brain. Kept on calling the interviewer by the wrong name, and a different one every time, lol. Howie was actually able to talk about left ideas sufficiently coherently that the lib interviewer eventually ran out of stupid questions.
Right, I'm voting for an organization, which is why I didn't vote for PSL, which doesn't have a formal organization in my state.
As to the party structure of PSL nationally, I lived through the 2012 PFP nomination debacle... and given the role PSL played in that, it's fair to say I'm skeptical of PSL's organization as well. I also don't think it speaks well of WWP/PSL's internal democracy that they've been nominating the same person for president for 30 years, and are continuing to do so long after her "best by" date.
PSL
best electoral strategy
building a socialist base
I want some of what you're smoking, lmao. Nothing against Marxist parties in general, not saying the Greens are remotely consequential, but PSL is shyte.
It was on WBAI, can't find a recording online, but here's another one a lib friend brought up when I was expressing my radical centrism between the Green Party and PSL (very unpopular here, I know): https://www.scpr.org/programs/airtalk/2020/10/21/66156/airtalk-interviews-the-2020-presidential-candidate/
Some listener submits an insanely stupid "what about national socialism and the Soviet Union" question, that's unfortunately exactly the kind of thing a socialist candidate will have to handle in the US, and her response is that there weren't many deaths there (meaning the Soviet Union, but sounding like Holocaust denial in the context of the question). I just think she's lost a step in her old age, and Howie does a better job making the case.
Defended her to the hilt, obviously, in front of the libs, but I don't think I have to do that here.
Yeah, Howie may be as dull as ditchwater but he's pretty smart and well spoken. Also a long running history of organizing in the Green Party (co-founder and also worked on one of Bernies campaigns in the late 70s)

That wasn't Biden Brain. It was a Stalinesque power play. Media needs to know its place!
