As he's been hinting at it, do you guys think he'll pull it tonight? Or will he actually win?

Anyway, I don't live there so I'll just sit here with popcorn.

I think trump already gave up tbh. It's the fanbase and his ghouls you have to watch out for.

I think he'll pull a Buttigeig instead. Declare prematurely, act like he's won, if the results don't come in the right way have the SC fix that

My "high last night" thought was that the ghouls he needs to make the coup happen know he's incompetent, know he fires/trashes everyone once they've served a purpose for him, and know that it'll eventually crumble and theyv may be tried for treason, and will back down. But who knows, I'm a lib when I'm high.

I agree with this. Anyone who is competent enough to be in a position where they could join a coup, is also probably smart enough to know that Trump isn't worth doing a coup for.

There might be a few dumbass cops and soldiers who would join, but most of the command structure would push back I think.

No one had ever heard of Guaidó before, and everyone knows Trump.

He'll do a self-coup, more like what Erdoğan did 2 years ago. Probably around the terrain of the judiciary- it'll be far more acceptable (that is, far less risk of open warfare) if he just follows the 2000 blueprint with voter suppression, intimidation, media narratives, getting the SCOTUS to call the election early, and implicitly daring the Democrats to play chicken. It's a fairly safe bet- people would revolt if he refused to accept the results of the election, but no ome would reach for their guns if the election was just called early.

i think pennsylvania doesnt even start counting until tomorrow and that's a state each campaign needs so my guess is they'll know nothing tonight unless it's a blowout.

Depends on if the results that come in tonight have him leading. It's possible that Biden wins by so much that he is even winning before many mail ins get counted.
