all breadtube libs do is turn people into consumers by making them think that by watching their videos they are doing praxis , and their videos are nothing but surface analisis of media that ends with capitalism bad but they give no alternative, but VOTE for harm reduction.

Bad Mouse was right about his opinions of breadtube, that it was a scam, that didnt radicalize people , that "is about making that sweet Patreon cash by selling mildly provocative ideas to terminally online, first-world, white, insecure, mostly young people. It's a market solution (progressive, entertaining content) to a market problem (right wing content sells really well.)"

breadTube bad (except Shaun he is good)

BadMouse was good. I'm disappointed he took down his vids, but from what I've read, his reasoning for doing so was sound.

I think there's still some hope for some BreadTubers though. What about Non Compete and Luna Oi? Angie Speaks?

non of them i consider breadtube, Breadtube is nothing but liberals of some kind, true leftists like marxists and anarchists i dont think they are BT and they are actually good at radicalizing libs

Yeah, go to his channel. :( All the vids are either deleted or set to private. Lotsa speculation in a couple threads on r/breadtube, some of which he responded to (but no one knew it was him because they didn't recognize the screenname) and got downvoted for.

Yeah, he's an interesting case. Started out as ancap, shifted to actual anarchist, then finally ML. I already considered myself a socialist then, but he was the first real leftist youtube channel I knew about, having thought that youtube was only a haven for the toxic and reactionary. Finding out about BadMouse, and then others, was... refreshing for sure.

I didn't know anything about LSR or badpanda at the time. Here's hoping the youtube landscape continues to grow leftward and helps radicalize more people they way it sounds like it helped you.. and me to a degree anyway. At the very least, I'm glad there's a real counter to all the fash pipelines it also platforms.

It was his own decision, but he's been pretty vague about why exactly. Seems mostly because he was unhappy with how "breadtube" was going, and just didn't want to have his face up in public anymore.

Like Jack Saint doing a 1 hour video about the "Revolutionary Subtext" of Space Jam?

She never really was a leftist. Just a left leaning media critic.

Who cares? She just talks about film theory and analysis in her videos, so what does it even matter that her politics aren't that left? She's not a "Breadtuber."

        got rich from a book

Lets be fair, her book came out this year, she didn't get rich off that if anybody ever does lol

        Everything else is correct though

did people think she was? why are there all these posts about her on this site? She doesn't talk about economic politics at all on her channel so who was assuming she was a leftist?

Cuz she's friends with some of the "breadtubers" so people just assumed she also was.

lmao i got tickets to hamilton and honestly would've preferred it if I had contracted a rapidly progressive version of coronavirus right around the part where John Laurens dies and that's the last time for the remaining hour and 15 left in the play that slavery and the early abolitionist movement is mentioned but they mention how american credit is competitive x10

Good god I made a post in another thread on one of her tweets today telling people to not look at the replies.

And, like a complete fucking moron, I just ignored mine own advice. And I deeply regret it.

Why are you calling her a breadtuber? She's not a political youtuber and never has been. Her thing is movies and stuff.

I don't love breadtubers either, but it feels weird to me to say she is one. Maybe because I actually watch her videos and don't watch most other breadtubers.

Glad I'm not the only one who found her video about 'protest music' during Bush's presidency unmemorable.
