Why would you give reddit money because they have a link to an ap article. And it's not about some secret thing, it's about some huge exhausting drama no one can escape from.

It's another sign that people are in need of socialism, but I'm not sure it reveals any clues for tactics to help radicalize them. :curious-marx:

Tinfoil time: Many of these awards are fake, sown by the admins to normalize this bullshit.

I don't even know what any of these mean. But also I want a crossed arms hex bear now.

I made a spreadsheet to figure out how many coins were spent on the awards on the /r/politics post , which equals 1,732,500 coins. But because they don't have an even coin=dollar cost, it's difficult to figure out how much actual money was spent.

At the highest-discounted bundle of coins: 82,000 coins for $199.99, the cost of all the awards would be: $4,225.40.

At the standard rate, 500 coins for $1.99, the cost of all the awards would be: $6,895.35.

    What fucking nerds lmao

My guess is the actual cost of those awards is somewhere toward the middle then. So like 5000+ US dollars to pin virtual badges to a single Reddit post whose sole purpose is to link to a specific news article of thousands about the same highly-publicized event.

Xi, you know what to do.

I'm sure they use that data responsibly and don't use it to manipulate posts to the front page that generate the most revenue. :capitalist:

This is useless and trifling, but there was a campaign giving out free medals. For example, I think the "so wholesome" seal with 810 is a free medal.

If you're a good poster you already know this. Lot of people telling on themselves in these comments.
