I don't really follow vaccine news closely, but wasn't world's scientific and medical community shitting on the Russian vaccine because it was expedited? What's the situation with the German one?
Because there's been plenty of literature and huge double blind studies backing them. It stands to reason that if you don't trust companies making vaccines, why aren't you at least perusing their output?
Also vaccine availability is how the western colonial project will manifest itself (we already got cute a priori justifications that explain why the first world will receive the vaccine at least a whole year ahead from the rest of the world) not by the effectiveness of the vaccine itself. Sorry, it's a rude awakening and all, I know Cuba is pretty good at vaccine development and medical research but they simply cannot leverage the massive budget a worldwide vaccine trial demands

ALL covid vaccines will be somewhat rushed. This doesn't mean they didn't go through a proper process. In some senses the process is only as long as it is to appease antivaxxers and strengthen trust, as well as putting fewer resources behind them. There is always some danger, yes, but what you and the other smooth brain posts here are doing is (intentionally or unintentionally) strengthening the antivaxx wave that's gonna be so fucking hard to deal with when the vaccine eventually comes.
