        Right, there's someone eligible to hold an office and the only reason that the citizens can't choose them as a representative is because of an arbitrary rule made by state bureaucrats. You know, "democracy".

          I can't say I'm really that upset about it here in the US. Lack of term limits here would just mean Obama would be president for life. Sounds like a special kind of hell tbh.

      It's a measure bought in to help make sure you don't have an entrenched political elite.

      It could work I guess but frankly in a liberal democracy it's like using a thimble to bail out a sinking cruise ship.
